Q. Who influenced or inspired you?
A. My Uncle, Clarence Shields, used to do video/photography services for church every Sunday. I always paid attention. He eventually bought me my first camera.
Q. How long have you been in business/performing?
A. I started back in 2010 for about a year or two, but I had to put it on hold while I completed my masters degree. I recently just started back up in 2019.
Q. Where are you from originally?
A. Conroe, Tx
Q. What do you have coming up?
A. I am currently doing a collaboration with The Candle Co to push out holiday themed candles personalized with photos taken by me.
Q. How has the pandemic affected you or your art/business?
A. I actually have been able to pour more time into my business since the pandemic.
Q. What has been your biggest obstacle?
A. My biggest obstacle has been space limitations. Once I am able to get my dream workspace, the options will be endless. I look forward to it!
Q. Any words of advice?
A. You don’t always need the most fancy- or most expensive- equipment to get things done. If you can make magic happen with what you have, just imagine what you’ll be able to do when you’re able to expand.
