New 936 Movement Spotlight on: Amari Khari
It's not easy trying to make it in the entertainment business coming from a small town. Resources are limited & gaining momentum can be tiresome. But when on top of that you're making soulful content reminiscent of a J. Cole or a Kendrick Lamar the issue can be much bigger because mumble rap over hard baselines seems to be all people want to hear. Yet somehow Amari Khari Stephens has turned this problem into a strategic advantage & made the community accept a higher level of hip-hop. Check out our spotlight on Amari & see how a young man created his own space & then dominated it.
